FAQ

Common questions.

The short version: post a brief, fund it through Stripe, pick a tester, review the report, then approve or escalate.

How fast do I get a report?

Quick Pass jobs are usually same-day. Full Sweep jobs usually land within 24-48 hours. Deep Dive jobs are scoped with the tester before work starts and usually land within 3-7 days.

How does hiring work?

Founders post a brief, testers send proposals, and the founder accepts one. Founder pays the tester budget plus qahuman's 10% platform fee through Stripe before testing starts.

What if the report misses the mark?

Founders get up to 3 revision rounds. If the report still isn't usable, qahuman admins can review the evidence and decide the dispute.

How do testers get paid?

Approved reports release the accepted tester budget through Stripe Connect. qahuman's platform fee is charged to the founder at checkout, not deducted from the tester budget.

How does qahuman make money?

qahuman keeps the platform fee. The launch model is pay as you go: no subscriptions, no proposal fees, and no tester access fees.

What platforms do you support?

Web, iOS, Android, desktop, and invite-only builds. Founders specify the exact platforms, devices, or browsers they need covered.

What should founders share for access?

Use temporary or sandbox credentials only. Share the minimum access needed for the job and rotate it after testing is complete.

How are testers evaluated?

Profiles surface completed jobs, client reviews, trait scores, specialties, and any sample report links. Stronger delivery unlocks better visibility and higher-tier work.

Can one account be both a founder and a tester?

Yes. qahuman uses one account for both roles, but you cannot test your own job.

What if the tester ghosts?

The founder can cancel before work starts. If work has started, the dispute path lets qahuman review evidence before any payout is released.

Can I keep a brief private or use an NDA?

Sensitive credentials and private instructions are only shown to the assigned tester. Standard or custom NDA requirements can be added to the brief, and the accepted tester must sign before private work unlocks.

How do payouts work for testers?

Founders fund the tester budget plus qahuman's 10% platform fee first. After the report is approved, qahuman releases the accepted tester budget through Stripe Connect and qahuman keeps the platform fee.

What happens to the platform fee if a job is refunded?

Refunds return the held tester budget by default. The 10% platform fee is retained for payment handling, marketplace admin, and dispute review unless qahuman chooses to waive or credit it.

How do I withdraw or cancel a job?

Open the job detail page and use the cancel action while the job is open or assigned. Once a tester has submitted work, use revisions or dispute review instead.
